NLPA financial incentive policy for Provincial Meet directors and Provincial referees
Meet directors incentive Policy for Local Meets in Eastern, Central , Western, and Labrador regions
Meet directors for local competitions in any region in Newfoundland and Labrador are eligible for a stipend of up to $500 from the NLPA to hold a local meet. This will be contingent on the financial capabilities of the association for the fiscal year; to be determined by the executive on a yearly basis.
This stipend will be provided after the completion of a successful Meet. A successful Meet completion is defined as:
Completion of the competition at the designated time and location
Meeting all of the guidelines associated with holding a local meet, including but not limited to, completing the necessary CPU application to hold a local meet as well as submitting results and paying drug testing fees to the CPU as appropriate. These guidelines are outlined on the NLPA website under the Meet Planning Guide.
Provincial Referee incentive
An NLPA referee will receive a stipend of $25 per session upon completion of all referee duties for that session (e.g. equipment check, weigh-ins, etc.) at the NLPA Provincial Championships.
